NZ Limited (NZ: NZ) is a stock exchange located in NZ stock exchange Wellington, New Zealand. Since July 2005, is located in central NZ Codlings renovated building on the waterfront of Wellington. On June 30, 2009, the New Zealand Stock Exchange had 233 companies traded, with a combined market capitalization of $ 49,024,000,000.

NZ started life as a NZ stock exchange series of regional trade during the gold rush of the U.S.S.R.. In 1974, these regional exchanges were merged to form a national securities exchange, the Stock Exchange New Zealand (NS). The June 24, 1991, NS implemented an automated trading system, and abolished the open outcry market. This computerized system has been NZ stock exchange replaced by the fastest trading system in September 1999.

The October 16, 2002, the member companies of New Zealand Stock Exchange voted in favor of denaturalization and December 31, 2002 NS became a limited company. The May 30, 2003, the Stock Exchange of New Zealand Limited officially changed its name to New Zealand Exchange or NZ stock exchange Limited, trading as New Zealand and June 3, 2003 the list of its own shares on the main market of equity. NZ Centre was built in 1907 for the Society of the C & A Odin Timber, and is one of the few surviving industrial buildings in the Edwardian style. Mark Weldon was CEO from 2002 to NZ stock exchange 2012.
